Own Extremely rare pieces of WNY history!

Antique Lord Venkateswara metal spelter statue/shrine, and footed iron caldron pot with side handles. Dated 17th-18th century, possibly earlier. These pieces of history were saved from the Erie canal locks, pier 32.

Statue measures approx. 15"H x 10 1/4"W x 2 1/4"D

Caldron pot measures approx. 6 1/2" diameter x 5 1/2"H

Markings noted: Pot has a star on bottom.

Condition: Details are still visible on statue, wear and pitting consistent with age on both pieces. Metal corrosion.
